Digital Resources for the Humanities and Arts Conference 2011

4 Jun 2011 (All day)

Connected Communities: global or local2local?

4th-7th September 2011

The Centre for Advances Studies (CAS) at the University of Nottingham is delighted to host the 15th annual conference of the Digital Resources in the Humanities and Arts (DRHA) at the University’s Ningbo, China campus (UNNC).

The DRHA annual conferences have been hosted by various UK academic venues for the past decade (previous conferences can be viewed here).  In 2011, the University of Nottingham projects this prestigious event onto the international stage by hosting the conference at its campus in Ningbo, China.

Delegates from all over the world, including China, Australasia, United States and Europe, will explore and exchange current knowledge and future research opportunities in the rapidly advancing area of digital humanities.

The DRHA brings together academics and artists, connected by their interest in digital research and resources, and transcending traditional boundaries of scholarly disciplines.

The DRHA 2011 conference theme is Connected Communities

Accordingly, the University of Nottingham, Ningbo (UNNC) will offer participants from a range of disciplines the opportunity to engage with experts and innovators in all aspects of the digital humanities.

This year’s conference is hosted by Nottingham University at their campus in Ningbo, China and will take place from Sunday 4th September to Wednesday 7th September 2011. Please note no costs can be covered for participants, presenters or performers. We recommend you seek funds for your attendance as soon as your proposal is submitted for presentation.
